Cristiano Ronaldo joined the group at the team Hotel, hid so well that the waiting 500 fans didn't see him.

Now it's time for the Portugal national team to start training with Cristiano Ronaldo. Earlier today he arrived in Lisbon. Now he joined the rest of the team at the Hotel in Viseu.

So, business as usual. Not really.

He somehow hid so well- when he got in the hotel- -the fans who were outside the hotel waiting to see him- didn't.

According to the local nightly TV news, hundreds of people were outside to specifically see Cristiano Ronaldo. First they explained a little bit of how Ronaldo was able to be 'invisible.'

Something about riding in the car with his agent from Lisbon to Viseu. Right before entering the city of Viseu he switched cars. Rode in one of the security cars that accompany the national team everyday. Turns out people were unaware of which of the security cars he was in.

Here's how they covered the fans' perspective in Viseu, Portugal:

-They interviewed a fan who was waiting outside the hotel from 3pm local time. (Remember the news aired at 8pm local time) She said (I agree) "even a wave, at least, we're here to support him."

I think that Ronaldo can do as he pleases. But since I'm a fan, I would have been disappointed too. Although I myself would have been mad if Postiga or Carvalho pulled the same trick. Just a wave from the car to the hotel entrance would have been enough, especially since he spends more time abroad than in his country.
