For me Deco. Here's a picture I took of Deco in 2006. It was on Hollywood and Vine when Barcellona came to Los Angeles, CA to play a pre-season game against Chivas from Mexico. 
Consistent in all 3 games especially the most important one, the quarterfinal Germany-Portugal. He carried the team on his shoulders by creating goal opportunities for the wingers, forwards and even scoring himself.
In the disastrous Portugal 2-3 Germany game, he could have been man of the match.
