Several football players like Inter's Marco Materazzi, and Zenith's Arshavin wore these pink boots in this week's Champions League games.
On Nov. 20, 2008 attacking midfielder Franck Ribery launched a Nike commercial for Nike MERCURIAL VAPOR IV boots. It's based on the Pink Panther movie. Ribery wore the boots in Matchday 3 of the Champions League Bayern Munich 3-0 Steaua Bucharest Nov 25, 2008:
