Your thoughts on the new players of the Portugal team?
There were new players played in this game meaning that they were not in the 2010 World Cup. Paulo Bento comes in and Cristiano Ronaldo scores 1 goal in two matches in a row. Not just any matches, euro 2012 qualification matches.
Joao Moutinho makes a comeback.
Carlos Queiroz had left him OUT of the 2010 World Cup squad. It might had been a hard choice because there was already a crowded midfield with Simao and Deco. Now that they both retired from the national team, Paulo Bento called up Moutinho and Carlos Martins. Moutinho was part of the Euro2008 Portugal team already.

Ricardo Quaresma:
Looks like he won't be called up unless Cristiano Ronaldo or Nani get injured. Quaresma was not part of the call-up list for these 2 Euro2012 qualification matches. LUCKILY Quaresma played in the other Portugal game because Cristiano Ronaldo was injured, and ruled out.
Rui Patricio:
Eduardo continued to be in goal in these 2 Euro2012 qualification matches. Beto was a substitute in Iceland 1-3 Portugal. Rui Patricio is also losing favor in his own club when they signed another goalkeeper to compete with him.
