Central defender Manuel Da Costa is 22 years old now. He is definitely eligible to be called up for the Portugal team under Queiroz. Competition is high with the untouchables Carvalho, Bruno Alves and Pepe. Who can compete with them?

Queiroz showed he called Rolando when the central defense options were getting scarce. I strongly believe that if Da Costa does play every week with Sampdoria in the Serie A, he will be called up.
