Quaresma transfer talk latest. In short:
-Inter's squad is closed so no more players coming in- according to Inter president Moratti.
-He's just a common player- according to Arrigo Sacchi.
I still have hope Quaresma gets in the squad instead of Lampard this season. I respectfully disagree with Sacchi. Quaresma is not a common player.

Today Massimo Moratti, Inter president said in an interview on the 
Inter official site, that the squad was closed. I went on the website, the English version, and the interview didn't mention anything about Quaresma. I then went on the Italian version, and there was the complete interview. Interesting.

President, a comment on yesterday's Inter games in the TIM trophy?
"Inter, very good. It looked like a team with notable potential. Both matches, seen without commentary, looked to me very interesting."
--Yesterday, Mourinho announced a defense alarm, will you return to the trasnfer market after the injury of Materazzi?
"Materazzi's injury is unfortunate because soon there will be an important match. However, we'll decide in these days if it will be the case to return to the transfer market. It all depends on the nature of the injury".
--How about Alberto Aquilani?
"That has nothing to do with it! From yesterday's comments it felt like he'd been playing with Inter for 10 years already. We already have a midfield that looks important, and an attack that's settled, we only have problems in defense."
--Adriano's performance, good sign?
"yes, he impressed me a lot. But also Muntari surprised me, even more than I expected. That's why we got him."
--Can Ricardo Quaresma still arrive?
"I just answered".

Arrigo Sacchi said Quaresma is a common player in an interview to the Gazzeta Dello Sport. I went online to find that interview and I didn't see it. It jmust be on the print edition.
Arrigo Sacchi said in Italian "He's not a player for Inter. Quaresma is a common player, and doesn't make a difference. When it's a decisive game he can be decisive, but it's rare.
("Non è un giocatore da Inter. Quaresma è un giocatore comune, non fa la differenza. Quando è in giornata può essere decisivo, ma è raro che gli riesca".
This from a man who as Sports Director in Real Madrid didn't succeed. Where was this "judgement/ keen eye" when he was getting paid to do just that! He was sacked before the end of his contract.
