This weekend Spain's La Liga starts. Ricardo's Betis first game of the season is at home Betis v. Huelva. Ricardo wears the #1 Betis jersey. Other big names in the team, Odonkor from Germany; Nery Castillo from Mexico (star when Hugo Sanchez was coach); Monzon Argentinean defender, gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics; Turkey's Mehmet Aurelio.
Portugal national team
He's having bad luck since Carlos Queiroz became coach. Queiroz did not call him up for the August 2oth friendly Portugal - Faroe Islands. Goalkeeper Ricardo also not in the call-up list for Portugal's next 2 important games, 2010 world cup qualifyers. Fans saw Quim was in better shape than Ricardo, Scolari wouolnd't hear it. Quieroz did what fans wanted, Quim in goal.
