Because both clubs lost their opening match, they play the "losers final" of the Russian Railways Cup 2008 in Moscow this Sunday, August 3rd.
Two matches this morning: AC Milan v. Sevilla, and Lokomotiv v. Chelsea. Before the matches ended I wanted a AC Milan v. Chelsea clash and I got my wish! I was interested in Lokomotiv v. Chelsea because:
- I'm a fan of Chelsea so I expected a win. What a disappointment because they couldn't keep the lead. Chelsea went to penalties again in Moscow. Lost 5-4.
- Wanted to see Scolari's base formation/ starting lineup. He had said in the pre-game press conference that he'll know the basic starting lineup AFTER the Russian Railways.
- How the Portuguese internationals played
Paolo Ferreira- He played all 90 minutes. I'm sure that when Bosingwa recovered Scolari is going to put him in the starting lineup instead of Paolo Ferreira. Meanwhile, Ferreira is starting. His jersey is now number 19 instead of 20. 20 went to Deco.
Deco- Played in the midfield with Lampard, Obi-Mikel.

Jose Bosingwa- Out for 3 weeks, back in England recovering.
Ricardo Carvalho- An untouchable in the starting lineup. The Chelsea #6 played 90 minutes.
Belletti- The Brazilian defender if he leaves may make it easier for Ferreira to play more often. I haven't seen that he signed with another club yet. I just read that Benfica is interested in getting a right-back like Belletti. Belletti said he could see himself in Portugal.
This Sunday's game with the "losers" I'll make sure to follow it live online. Are you following it live online too? I wish I could watch it but it's a ChelseaTV exclusive.
- Who's your favorite for this Sunday's AC Milan v. Chelsea FC? Surprised these 2 great clubs lost their opening match int he Russian Railways Cup?
