Yes, the Portugal captain finally scored in this Euro 2008!
Played the 1st 67 minutes. Replaced by Man U forward Nani. 6 minutes after Germany's 3rd goal.
The only clear goal opportunity he had and it wasn't really for him. Cristiano Ronaldo's shot was blocked by Lehmann and it landed on Nuno Gomes' feet.
Nuno Gomes had even said in yesterday's press conference "I have a 'feeling' it will be my day tomorrow." 
In the 2nd half he didn't get service and thought it was about time Scolari replaced him with Nani.
He was making history today by equalling Figo's record of most presences in a UEFA Euro tournament. Played in 14 games.
