Germany's 3rd goal, 61' Ballack. Brought the game to

Portugal 1- 3 Germany

Yes, when you see the replay of Ballack's 3rd goal, it's clear he pushed Paolo Ferreira before to be able to head it freely. That's a foul and the goal should not be allowed.

Scolari

You can see Scolari on TV making the gesture of pushing right after Ballack scored.

It's the 1st thing he said to the Portugese radio after the game- "It's clear on all the screens in the stadium that Ballack pushed Ferreira..."

I bet many Portugal fans were saying "If only Quim didn't get injured... Quim is better shape, more obvious than that."

What happened? How did Portugal defenders get caught off-guard?

Dreaded setpieces. A free kick on the 50th minute by Schweinsteiger, Ballack headed it in. Cristiano Ronaldo was marking Germany #21. 2 Portugal defenders Carvalho and Pepe marking 1 Germany player, Mertesacker. You can even see Carvalho pulling his jersey.

On ESPN deportes, even the narrators said "Donde estaba Ricardo, que esta haciendo detras de Ballack?" (Where was Ricardo, what was he doing behind Ballack?") They admitted Ballack committed a foul on Ferreira but that the referee didn't see it.

- Is goalkeeper Ricardo responsible for conceding the 3rd goal? What did you think of Ricardo's performance in the game?
