I saw the game on ESPN with my eyes glued to the TV to catch a glimpse of Ferreira on the bench, if they filmed the bench.
Ferreira sightings:
-Around the 80th minute Lampard is about to do the corner kick and Ferreira is in jogging on the sideline with a purple training vest.
-End of game Ballack is getting up walking toward the dressing room and Ferreira with the purple training vest is next to him looking down.
Mancienne first appearance for Chelsea in the Champions League, didn't see him make an enourmous difference. If I were Ferreira I'd go to the corner coffee shop and watch the game and Hiddink won't know the difference.
Juventus:
Unfortunately Juve couldn't give Chelsea a hard time. I was shocked. I expected a goal by Amauri, 2 goal opportunities by Del Piero from Juventus.
Jose Bosingwa- inspired going forward, unlimited crosses to the area, each time making Juventus' Molinaro looking unuseful.
90th minute game was over but still hoped Ferreira would come on. Couldn't see why Hiddink would replace Bosingwa though. He was excellent when going forward but very bad defending in about 3 instances, 2 in the first half, 20th minute, Del Piero on the left, last minute of the first half, and near the 90th minute Cech and Bosingwa misunderstood a pass and gave Juve a corner kick.
I think Bosingwa was inspired attacking-wise!
