Nuno Gomes meeting Benfica fan on wheelchair, March 15, 2009
This is touching. The beginning of the video report shows teh Benfica fan on a wheelchair, getting to the Da Luz stadium on time to see the game. He sits all the way in the back because there's wheelchair access in that area. When he's leaving, there was a surprise for him in the parking garage.
Fast forward to 01:00: Nuno Gomes walks out wearing a red Benfica training jacket. He says 'Ola' to the fans. The fan's eyes were wide-open with disbelief!
Nuno Gomes then asks the 2 fans 'did you see the game?"
Pedro, the fan answers: "Yes, we saw it all."
Nuno Gomes: "Were you cold? Were able to see the pitch well?"
Pedro: "yes"
Nuno Gomes: "Today it didn't go too well for us."
01:25 Oscar Cardozo walks out and shakes their hands.
Pedro: "Ola!"
Cardozo in Spanish: "Everything fine? (todo bien)
Pedro says in Spanish: "You are my favorite player from Benfica. (Tu eres mi jugador preferido de Benfica)"
Cardozo in Spanish: "Gracias."
Pedro in Spanish: "De Nada."
Pedro was more excited to see Cardozo up lose. You can tell by his eyes.
