UEFA announced a list of 20 players nominated for the trophy "Player of the year."
Almost every player plays in the Premiership, Chelsea or Man United. No Serie A players. Only 2 players in Spain's La Liga, Puyol and 'Leo' Messi.
Cristiano Ronaldo is nominated yet again. I doubt he'll win but he'll come to be the close 2nd place. Winner will be announced next Thursday, August 28, 2008.
