AC Milan v. Chelsea, your prediction? Ferreira, Carvalho, Deco to play

So in a few hours AC Milan v. Chelsea FC, in the Russian Railways Cup 2008. It sounds like a Champions League game not a pre-season friendly, doesn't it? My time (USA Pacific time) it's at 3 am but I plan to stay up and follow it live online. I, of course, want Chelsea to win.

Russian Railways Cup 2008, 3rd place

AC Milan:
They're not in the best shape right now. Although they won the TIM Trophy against expectations. I thought Inter would win it.

We'll see how midfielders Gattuso and Pirlo do:

Lost their opening match of the Russian Railways Cup 2008 against Sevilla. AC Milan's objectives this season is to win the Scudetto and the UEFA cup. After the match, on August 2nd, Paolo Maldini said that if he can choose he'd pick the Scudetto / tricolore over the UEFA cup.

2 forwards not available. Borriello is recovering after having surgery. Pippo Inzaghi also unavailable. Pato is with the Brazil Olympic team. Pressure on young Paloschi.

Chelsea:
New manager, Scolari, new base formation, new signings, Deco, Bosingwa. They won all 3 games in their Asian tour. However, Chelsea also lost its opening match against Lokomotiv.

Base formation/ starting lineup- Scolari said in that he'll know what players will be the basis of his starting lineup AFTER the Russia Railways Cup 2008. I enjoy watching his press conferences, always gesturing with his hands and speaking so clearly.

Forwards- Anelka had a goal opportuniy against Lokomotiv but couldn't finish. He had scored in the Asian tour. Like Scolari said, those 3 Asian clubs weren't strong teams.

Defender Jose Bosingwa- Too bad he got injured and is ruled out for 3 weeks. I can't wait to see him play with Chelsea. After his average Euro 2008 performance, I hope he convinces, wins over skeptical Chelsea fans.

Deco- Opening match, Lokomotiv v. Chelsea, in the 8th minute, had a chance to score. We'll see if Scolari chooses to use him all 90 minutes.

Ricardo Carvalho With Ben-Haim being transferred to Manchester City, it looks like the 2 central defenders will be Carvalho and Terry. The second option being Brazilian Alex.

Defender Ferreira: Will he be outrun by Paloschi?

Final Score: will the goals be from set-pieces? Who will score from a corner kick, or free kick?
