So Portugal will play its next friendly on August 20th against the Faroe Islands. I still can't believe they chose that opponent. What type of defenders will they face? Certainly not a test for the Portuguese forwards. Anyway.
Less than a month away and 3 players will just begin their pre-season training with Benfica. All these 3 arrived at Seixal, Portugal this morning. Untouchable in the starting lineup, at least under Scolari, Benfica forward Nuno Gomes arrived today. Petit and new Benfica signing, defender, Jorge Ribeiro.
The morning was used for medical and physical tests which will continue tomorrow. They didn't go on the soccer field.
