About being included in Scolari's final 23 man squad for the UEFA EURO 2008:
"The call up shows the confidence that the manager has in me. I am here to help the group. That's why I am here to work."
About which forward is closer to the starting 11: "I think that's question of the mananger. All 3 of us are working well, the manager must alrady have a chosen one, but it's up to us to keep working and try to get a place in the team."
About the holes in the attacking section of the national team: "It's not by here that Portugal will make mistakes. If the goal occasions get created, the forwards will score."
