By Nov 22, 2008 Sporting CP was having its worst period of the 2008-2009 season. They went through 2 consecutive defeats against important clubs:
FC Porto (reigning champions) and
Leixoes (surprise team, promoted in 2007, that was first in the table).

Miguel Veloso's new hairstyle, dark brown short enough for that 'spiky' look. No long blonde hair like in the Euro 2008. I prefer the long-blonde-hair-tied-in-a ponytail look from the 2007-2008 season.
