- Morning training session- Not today
- Usual pre-training press conference. This time 3 staff members:
Hot Topic: Goalkeeper, Quim or Ricardo?
Goalkeeper coach Brassard on whether Ricardo was the starting goalkeeper, like usual:
"About the past, we all know perfectly that Ricardo played every game. But we can't, in soccer, we know we can't live from the past. Like I said, 3 goalkeepers were called up. We think that the 3 have potential and quality to play. We think all 3 start at an equal level. Two of the goalkeepers are the most brilliant at the moment, the case of Quim and Ricardo. And 1 young guy with quality, Rui Patricio."
I saw the news clip online on full screen. Here's a picture of him.
Darlan Schneider, physical trainer, said the Ricardo Carvalho, and Cristiano Ronaldo have trained separately.
- 5pm- Afternoon training at the new pitch "Estádio João Cardoso," in Tondela
In the first 4 days, the afternoon training was at Estadio do Fontelo, in Viseu. Tondela is 22 km from Viseu.

Wow! What do you think of Brassard's statements that Ricardo belongs to the past, and now there are other goalkeepers capable of taking his place. Now Scolari just has to act on Brassard's belief. I bet Quim will sleep better now.
Perhaps, Ricardo NOW knows how Vitor Bahia felt in the 2002 World Cup.
